Where can I find a recipe for fried apples like at cracker barrel restaurants?

Hope someone can help me, I’ve been looking for this one for quite a while.

    I’ve never been to cracker barrel, but longhorn steak house has sauteed apples…they’re sliced apples, sauteed in a frying pan with some butter, cinnamon, brown sugar. It’s very simple to do.

    6 large red apples, unpared, cored
    3 tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup apple juice
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 cinnamon stick (6 inches long)
    Directions
    1Sauté apples in butter for 6-8 minutes in non-stick skillet.
    2Boil apple juice, sugar, cinnamon stick, and lemon juice for 5 minutes.
    3Pour over apples.
    4Cook, uncovered, until apples are tender.
    5Pour into serving dish.
    6Serve warm or cold.

    I know the Cracker barrel fried apples are the BEST! I also get two jars to take home.

    here is a recipe I found searching though I haven’t tried it yet to judge.

    CDKitchen for Cracker Barrel Fried Apples

    2 cups Apple juice
    4 large Golden Delicious apples with — peel, 1/2" wedges
    1/2 cup Apple juice
    3 tablespoons Cornstarch
    1 teaspoon Apple pie spice
    4 tablespoons Sugar

    Directions:

    Combine apple juice and apples in a medium skillet. Simmer gently and turn apples often with spatula until fork tender but not mushy. Remove with a slotted spoon to oven dish. In blender pur 1/2 c apple juice, cornstarch, spice and sugar. Blend a few seconds until smooth. Stir into hot juice in skillet and cook, stirring constantly on med-high until it bubbles and becomes thickened and smooth. Turn heat off. Pour over apples.

    Serve warm as side dish or dessert. Refrigerate to use in a few days or freeze.

    Ingredients
    2 cups apple juice, plus
    1/2 cup apple juice
    4 large golden delicious apples, with peel,cut 1/2 inch wedges
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 teaspoon apple pie spice
    4 tablespoons sugar

    Directions
    1I n a medium skillet, combine the 2 cups apple juice and sliced apples.
    2 Simmer gently until apples are fork tender but not mushy, turning apples frequently.
    3 Remove apples from juice using a slotted spoon and place in an oven safe dish.
    4 In a blender, combine the remaining 1/2 cup apple juice, cornstarch, apple pie spice and sugar.
    5 Blend a few seconds until smooth.
    6 Whisk mixture into hot apple juice in skillet and cook, stirring constantly on medium high heat until it bubbles and becomes thickened and smooth.
    7 Pour thickened mixture over apples and serve.
    8 Please note the cooking time is an approximate

    There are recipe books that have all your favorite restaurant dish recipes.. i havent purchased it yet, but I am thinking about it.
