If you made a salad that had lettuce and grapes in it, then what would be in a good salad dressing for it?

February 4th, 2010 by admin | Filed in Top Secret Restaurant Recipes

Tasted a salad at a restaurant that had lettuce, grapes and feta cheese in it but didn’t know what the salad dressing was made of….does anyone know or have a good recipe?

I would use Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing.I like this with a spinach salad with fresh raspberries, orange segments and a few almonds or pecans added. It is also very good with chicken added.

    RASPBERRY VINAIGRETTE
    (Makes about 1 cup)

    1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup raspberry or red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots or red onion
    2 tablespoons honey
    2 tablespoons orange juice

Whisk together the all ingredients for the vinaigrette. Prepare ahead, refrigerate until serving time. Mix again before using.

Poppyseed dressing would be great, or a raspberry vinaigrette.

    I would suggest:

    Poppyseed Dressing
    Blush Wine Vinaigrette
    Honey Mustard
    Greek Dressing
    Raspberry – Walnut Vinaigrette
