I am trying to find a recipe for good egg drop soup and the little fried noodles that you can pour the soup over. Does anyone know what the little noodles are called or how to make them or the soup at home?

All the East African Restaurants in the SF Bay Area serve some version of this standard green salad. Green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and a light dressing. The only recipes I’ve been able to find include pepperoni and jalepenos. This dressing is much lighter than that. Can anyone help?

I was feeling some juice KFC for dinner so I went to get some.

I bought some delicious BBQ bonified wings and some original recipe.
I’ve had bad experiences before .. people had jumped on me to steal my chicken.

I was getting out the restaurant and suddenly 4 guys were on top of trying to steal my Chicken. But this time I had a secret weapon.. My friend who is a cop let me borrow his electric gun.

Those guys had no chance. I gave them a good shock and they all were screaming and rolling all over the floor. I turned around and I saw like 40 blacks running towards me. I got into my car and drove away.

I think they are now looking for me.. what should I do?

I had this dish from a restaurant and it was delicious. Now I want to try to make it myself. I found a French bread boule which I’m thinking would be good for the bowl. Any good soup recipes and other bread suggestions? Thanks.

I like Sushi but I am new to making it.

I tried to make it and this was the outcome :-/

Chicken Tempura Roll(No eel Sauce)- http://i38.tinypic.com/10n7wg3.jpg

California Roll- http://i38.tinypic.com/11ipjdh.jpg

The rolls came out way to big, and just didnt taste like sushi that you would buy out in a restaurant.
Half the ingredients would be on one side of the roll, and it just wasnt proportioned.

For the rice, I used Rice wine Vinagr, sugar, and salt.
And I used toasted Nori sheets.

What am I doing wrong?

Do the nori sheets have to be a certain size? If so, what size?
How is Sushi rice seasoned?
What is the best knife to use? I had a little trouble cutting the sushi.

Any other tips, please include!
Also if you want to share your own recipe, feel free :)
Thank you~!
** I said Rice wine vinegar but I meant to say Rice vinegar
I do use sushi rice.

I am not sure how big my Nori sheets are but if I cut then in half they seem little.
What is the measurement of a nori sheet I should use?
I used 4 cups of sushi rice

1/3 cups of rice vinegar
2. table spoon of sugar
dash of salt

Hi! I have to do a project about a product which i have to invent by myself and I did it but I’m not sure if my grammar is correct as I’m french. It is a kind of publicity.

here is the text

You go home from work and you are so tired that you don’t really want to cook? You would choose to wash the dishes forever just not to cook? You don’t even know how to cook? Yes, cooking is becoming less popular in our families. Restaurants and Fast Foods are taking advantage of all this. But are you sure you want to pay a fortune for your meals or to eat junk food everyday? I guess the answer is no. Well frozen pizzas is not an option either. For all those who would wish to have magical powers to cook, we present to you the electronic chef “Magicook”. Don’t be afraid! It is not one of those complicated robots. With the look of a simple device, Magicook, does some very complicated functions. It has the dimensions of a usual microwave oven just a bit higher and on its top there are two compartments which you have to load with ingredients. One is for fluids and the other for solid ingredients. On the front there is a lid where you have to put an empty platter which will soon be filled with your favorite dish.
Until here nothing really amazing, right? Just because I haven’t shown you a little secret. I’m talking about the chef’s brain and this is not a joke. This device provides an electronic monitor which contains the recipes were you have to choose your favorite one out of hundreds of recipes. Then you have to put the necessary ingredients and just push the button “Cook” and in a few minutes, your favorite dish will be ready. Bon appetite!

Thanx in advance!

i ate a fried green tomatoe when i was a child many, many years ago. i never ever forgot the soft tangy inside and the coating on the outside. i wanted to have more but never tried them again. recently i visited a restaurant that had them on the menu. i ordered with glee. when the plate came, it had a pale orange sauce on the bottom with the 5 fried disks on top. i cut into the first one and it was horrible. it tasted like a plain unripe tomatoe. no taste or flavor. only a firm or hard disk with a perfect coating fried onto it. i sent the garbage back. this made me think that there must be an art to picking green tomatoes for frying or is there some art to frying them. how are the good ones tangy or sour and soft but the bad ones just hard tastless slices of nothing. is the secret in the length of time you fry them? what do you typically fry them in (fat or oil). if you know, then tell me. btw. i was in the south with old people and old recipes at the time.

A restaurant in Herkimer NY was well known for its "Mexican Hots", which were apparently hamburger patties topped with their secret sauce. This sauce was brown in color, pretty thick, and contained onions. That’s all I know. The restaurant closed and the second new owner supposedly used the original sauce recipe, but I didn’t try them because they were too expensive. The restaurant is closed again, and I don’t know if I will ever get to have one again. I’ve been looking elsewhere for something that tastes this good, but no luck so far. I heard a rumor that the sauce will be available in jars some time in the future, but I haven’t seen it yet. Does anyone have a recipe that might be close? I might have to tweak it a little, but I need a starting point. Thanks for any help.

I love it! I wanna make it. I checked the Olive Garden recipe site and it was not there. Possibly because it’s fairly new and they haven’t added it to the site yet? I think the broth may be made with chicken stock and evaporated milk. I’m open to other suggestions or if anyone knows what the actual recipe is?
polka_dot-Yours looks to be more of a chicken and dumpling recipe. You are missing an ingredient that is actually in the title. And the broth is very thin…so you may be confusing it with something else.
